Information in the app
The app stores player names or nicknames, selected avatar references, and preferences such as game settings on your device so you can play again with the same group. You do not need an Imposter Game account.
Secret words, assigned roles, votes, timing attempts and the shared drawing are used to run the current game. We do not operate a server that receives this gameplay data. Drawings are held for the current session rather than uploaded to a gallery.
The app does not include an advertising SDK or a third-party gameplay analytics SDK. It does not request your contacts, precise location, camera or microphone for play.
Purchases through Apple
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. The app checks Apple’s verified purchase and subscription status to determine access. We do not receive your payment-card number. Apple processes purchase, account and related diagnostic information under its own privacy policy.
When you visit the website
Our hosting and security providers process technical request information, such as IP address, browser information, requested page and access time, to deliver the website and protect it from abuse. The website is hosted using OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. Provider-controlled logs and any essential security or access cookies are subject to those providers’ practices.
We do not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, tracking pixels or a newsletter form to this website. Links to Apple and other external services take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
When you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and anything you choose to attach. We use this information to respond, investigate problems and handle your request. Our email provider processes the correspondence to deliver the service. Please send only the information needed to explain the issue.
We keep support correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain necessary support records or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete it; some records may need to be retained where required by law.
Sharing and use
We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Information may be processed by the providers needed for hosting, email and purchases, or disclosed when legally required or necessary to protect rights and security.
Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on providing the requested service, legitimate interests in supporting and securing it, and compliance with legal obligations, as applicable. Providers may process information in countries other than where you live.
Your choices
Use nicknames if you prefer. Edit or remove saved players in the app. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device, although device or cloud backups may retain copies according to your Apple settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information we hold, restrict or object to certain processing, or raise a complaint with a privacy authority. Contact pavlishkurti@protonmail.com to make a request. We cannot retrieve gameplay information stored only on your device.
Children
We do not ask children to create accounts or submit personal information. Use nicknames for local player names. If a child sends personal information to support, a parent or guardian may contact us to request its deletion.
Policy updates
We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change. If we add features that collect different information, this policy will be updated to explain them.
